Altered with Prismacolor markers, I simply extended the magical effect already present in the image. The metallic color is reflective and works better with this image in real light than it does when scanned.

Soul's Fire (Acrylic)

I chose this particular card to alter because the pattern of the flame was very easy to recreate with the acrylics. I blackened the background to make the image seem a little more dynamic and extended the flames through the borders.

First Acrylic Alter

 

This is the first card I ever altered using acrylic paints. Basically just a borderless extension of the original artwork.
